Ultimate Sacrifice

Have you ever noticed that occupations that are compassionate and self-sacrificial grab our hearts? Those that put their lives on the line in order to benefit others, like first responders, firefighters, and our men and women in the military.

There’s something about the giving of yourself for the benefit of others that tugs on our hearts, right? “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends”.

We have an example of that this weekend and many of us will be celebrating that exact kind of love.

So, my ask today is pretty simple: Find ways these next couple days to thank those who do that and second, thank the ONE who made the ultimate sacrifice and showed us what true love really is.
